He sold a US$2.5 million painting for only US$6
This seems to be the ultimate bargain basement buy.
An original Andy Warhol painting, worth about US$2 million (S$2.5 million) was bought for about US$5.
The lucky guy who got it was art buff Andy Fields, who picked up the painting at a Las Vegas garage sale.
The painting has not been seen before in public.
The painting dates back to the 1930s, when Warhol was either 10 or 11, The Sun reported.
Father-of-one Mr Fields bought a number of paintings by the American author and painter Gertrude Stein at the garage sale.
It was only when he was getting them framed that he discovered he had also bought one of Warhol's early works.
The figure in the drawing is 1930s singer and actor Rudy Vallee.
The seller was a drug abuser who told Mr Fields that his aunt had taken care of Warhol in his youth.
Mr Fields is said to have spent weeks trying to find the man.
